Notably, this is enabled by the 1/3 CMO Sony sensor behind the lens in the camera. The wind resistance and gimbal will also provide the stability needed for high-end imagery. Additionally, the 10 m/s speed could be useful when users have minimal preparation time. Lastly, the 5G Wi-Fi transmission allows for real-time first-person view transmission of images.

    For the current price of about $160, the Potensic T25 should work exceptionally well for beginner vloggers with the image and video quality to match. After all, it does support 2k video in addition to 10 MP photo quality. With its relatively compact size, we felt that buyers should be able to take it to recording sites without any packing issues. Additionally, at 120°, the field of view on the camera included is fairly wide. This makes up for the gimbal’s lack of a lateral and side-to-side axis, with the camera only moving up and down.

    The camera quality, field of view, and the ability to adjust it up and down make the Potensic T25 ideal for vloggers on a budget. Additionally, with features like follow-me and waypoint fly, it should be easy enough for beginners to use, allowing them to focus on getting better images and video. As implied by the names, the follow-me option allows the device to follow the user. Additionally, the waypoint fly option gives you the option to choose the flight route beforehand.

    Given the features of the Potensic P5, it offers one of the best value propositions in the market. One example is the 2.7K video which isn’t common at this price point. Furthermore, the flight time offered is even an upgrade to some of the pricier options, such as the Potensic Dreamer. That said, the control distance is smaller at 656 ft, and we noticed that, unlike the Potensic T25, you can’t adjust the camera angles via the remote control. Instead, you can only do it manually, limiting some of the functionality.

    This drone pick is excellent if you’re looking for the best value for your money without spending much. After all, the pricing is just slightly over $100. Notably, it likely won’t work for professionals and vloggers due to the limited camera angles and control distance. However, with the first-person view function, app control, and 5G transmittance of live footage, it would make a great entry-level drone for adults. This is in addition to the user-friendly interface that incorporates features like headless mode, one-key take-off, trajectory flight, etc.

    The Potensic Dreamer Pro is meant to be the upgrade to the Potensic Dreamer mentioned as our editor’s choice, and it lives to that billing. Video quality is quite good at 4k, 30fps, with the photo quality being 16 MP. These stats should be more than enough for professional videographers, not to mention the 3-axis gimbal is there to stabilize the footage. Also, despite the video and image quality being seemingly better than those on the Dreamer, we noticed the manufacturer used a similarly-sized Sony image sensor.

    As an upgrade to the initial Potensic Dreamer, the Dreamer pro has some notable changes. One is the control distance available, with the Pro almost tripling its predecessor’s range. Also, despite using the same size image sensor from Sony, the resolution has been bumped up from 13 MP to 16 MP. Lastly, despite using a similar 3-axis gimbal, the one on the Pro version of the drone has been upgraded for better performance and video stability. However, Some things like the 10 m/s max speed and 2 hr charging remain similar.

    As for the Potensic P4, our team rated it quite high for a device that costs significantly less than $100. Like the P5, the drone has a 40-minute flight time meaning you can use it for longer than most other Potensic drones in the market, including professional ones. Another similarity it shares with other drones on the manufacturer’s line-up is app compatibility. On the other hand, the compact size, lightweight body, and foldable wings are not things you see in most other Potensic drones. Lastly, the 1080P video resolution is still good enough for HD video.

    The Potensic P4 differentiates itself from other models in the brand by being more affordable without sacrificing too many of the features. Another difference is in the design, as not many of its siblings are as compact and lightweight, and neither do they have foldable wings. That said, there are still some sacrifices with the device having a lower video resolution than most other Potensic drones. Furthermore, the control distance is fairly small, making this a good hobby or training option, but it’s not ideal for professional projects.
