Why are we impressed?
Apart from the above-mentioned, some of the functions we like on the DJI P4P 4 PRO include the possibility of making obstacle detection in five directions. What negatives must you be aware of?
There was no major downside experienced with this device. But we would have loved the device to have an SDK. This means you can't use the device with third-party apps. Asides from that, we didn't see any other downside. The advantages, therefore, outweigh the disadvantages. We like the FlightAutonomy feature. It's an advanced system for safe and intelligent flight automation – sensors and compass analyze important data and rule out errors.
The DJI P4P 4 PRO 2.0 drone comes as a quadcopter and offers a control range of up to 7,000 meters and a fixed altitude of 6,000 meters. This model has three-speed levels. In P-mode the drone flies at 50 kilometers per hour, in A-mode it reaches 58 kilometers per hour and in S-mode it reaches up to 75 kilometers per hour. The DJI drone can withstand wind resistance of up to 36 kilometers per hour and can stay in the air for up to 30 minutes with its 6,000 mAh battery. This drone is equipped with a mechanical camera shutter, which, according to the manufacturer, can avoid undesirable distortions due to the rolling shutter effect.

What negatives must you be aware of?
The device has a small glitch. Its gimbal can jump suddenly at times. This happens when turning and during forward flights. It doesn't happen every time but occurs like two to three times in 10 minutes of flight, which can be a deal-breaking problem for some.

What could be better?
The Syma X500 is a good drone camera for beginners who want to gain their first experience. However, if you are looking for a drone to take high-quality aerial photographs, you should buy a slightly more expensive drone. If you want to make an informed decision when buying your new drone, you should consider a few factors. To make the purchase decision easier, we have compiled the most important criteria in the following section:
Camera
When there is an onboard camera, the most important thing is its resolution. The higher it is, the better the image quality will be. Generally, we have 720p on less expensive models, 1080p on the intermediate options, and 4K on professional drones. Thankfully, all hunting drones we selected are professional 4K drones, from the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 to the DEERC DE22. On these, you will have a fast editing function of videos and photos. Models with HDR technology also allow you to obtain images with colors closer to what the human eye perceives. Some drones even come with thermal cameras for night time hunting, however, it is completely unnecessary.
Flight Time
It is always the theoretical maximum flight time that is indicated by the manufacturers. By subtracting a few minutes, you will therefore be closer to what you will in real practice. 10 minutes is a fairly short battery life. The average ranges between 15 and 22 minutes. Beyond 22 minutes, the battery run-time is great. Some professional models can last 30 minutes. The DJI Mavic Air 2 has the longest flight time, it can fly for 34 minutes.
Drone pilots often have multiple batteries on them. They can thus perform several flying sessions in a row.
Control Distance
The higher it is, the better. Note that 5 GHz Wi-Fi compatibility increases the distance at which piloting is possible. The control distance for drones can range from as low as 400 meters to 3 kilometers. However, the DJI Mavic Air 2 can fly up to 6 kilometers, which is twice the norm.
Noise
For obvious reasons, a drone for hunting needs to be noiseless. Noise can scare away animals and make it harder to keep track of them. However, models with brushless motors not only provide better performance and longer life. This feature also helps to reduce noise. The Ruko F11 and the Holy Stone HS720 drones have brushless motors. These motors not only reduce noise but also consume less energy, ensuring longer flight time.
Size
To respect the law guiding unmanned aircraft vehicles, the size is important. The weight helps you to know if your drone must be registered. Models that weigh more than 250 grams must be licensed/registered. This however doesn’t mean sub-250-gram models don’t have rules guiding their use.
As for the dimensions, they should be controlled, as far as the performances allow it. The smaller and lighter the device is, the easier it will be to transport. Some models are foldable or sold with a case.
Ease of Use
The calibration process necessary before each use can help stabilize the drone and make it easy to control and use. Piloting can be made easier with different features:
A “headless” mode: normally, a drone steers according to its position. With this mode, it steers according to the pilot’s position. It’s easier to start when you use the drone in front of you.
